Jose Knippen

As the Program Manager of Migration & Forced Displacement at HIP, based in Mexico City, José is responsible for the grantmaking management of the program and for leading the capacity building strategy. Before joining HIP, José worked at UNHCR Mexico as a public policy analyst and at the Mexican NGO Fundar Centro de Análisis e Investigación AC as a researcher and project coordinator.

She has a Masters Degree in International Relations from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. In her free time, she loves art, reading and riding her bike.
