Participants stressed the importance of building a collective movement that includes all migrants and displaced persons, recognizing the diversity and complexity of their situations and struggles. A call was issued to strengthen the bonds of solidarity, and not just financial ones, to share resources, and to establish equitable, respectful partnerships among organizations. An invitation was made to think about whether intersectionality is understood and applied, and the importance of not normalizing violence and not losing the ability to feel admiration and love was highlighted.
